About me

Neil is one of the UK’s prominent virtualisation & server-based computing consultants and advocates having worked with Citrix products since the early days of Winframe and Metaframe. He has been instrumental in the initial deployments of server-based computing technologies into a number of large financial institutions and the continued development and expansion of those into the enterprise environment.

Often interviewed by press and analysts, Neil is trained and certified on VMWare, Citrix and Microsoft products to give a balanced view of the virtualisation marketplace. He is also a recognised SME by Citrix having contributed to exam content development and is a RES Software Valued Professional (RSVP).

Neil recently started sharing his experience of VDI deployment with The Register readers.

Neil is an active member of the Citrix community in the UK, travelling around Europe to both present and attend E2E/PubForum events, iForum/Synergy and  is on the steering group of the UK Citrix user group. He also runs the community website for Citrix Synergy www.synergybarcelona.com and is currently working on building the Citrix Community Lab, a low cost, cloud-based lab environment for technology professionals to try out the latest Citrix and related products.

    Hi,

    I can’t seem to be able to access any post, when I click on the “Read More” button I get the “404 Page not found” error..

    I really want to see the “Running Trend Officescan in Provisioned Clients” post…
